The realisation of innovation, i.e. a successful market entry, is a complex process and has to be planned well. Connecting the results of previous analyses (for example market research, techno-economic evaluation, LCA) a business plan should tell a story to convince partners, customers, investors and the responsible persons in the company itself. Aim of the business plan is to show the business opportunities and the realization steps towards a successful market launch of the new product. Biotechnology and Life Science SMEs often do not have the expertise to plan a successful market entry and to write a business story that convinces not only scientists but also businessmen in customer companies or investment bureaus.
NNFCC and BCNP will support the SMEs in the SUPERBIO project to plan their business story.
